Who does not do digital transformation nowadays?
Probably, nobody. Every company has to be digital to survive.
Another question what exactly to do and how to do it. This is where a lot of confusion starts.
We have used numerous methodologies to simplify things along this journey. We can start with a healthcheck aka a knowledge map. This will capture current status of affairs, stakeholder perceptions and priorities. This is a relatively lightweight stage when all key stakeholders share their views and common ground is established. This then becomes a starting point.
After that we can be as humble or as ambitious as we want. We can do anything we like.
Having said that the common approach is to think big but start small. WE identify specific use cases where technologies will make big impact. Once the case is proven it is much easier to scale vertically and horizontally.
